Missicon is the main fundraising strategy towards The Forte Institutes of Excellence (FINE), non-profit organisation. The FINE is managed by a dynamic team of five highly skilled and qualified black women who are also board members. It is comprised of various vocational skills centres. The one that is currently operational is The Getrude Tseki Hair and Beauty Academy (GTHBA).
The pageants automatically become part of the fundraising team towards GTHBA which is situated in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni. GTHBA provides both non and accredited vocational skills to people with mild intellectual disabilities, youth from substance abuse rehab centres and youth passionate about hair and beauty industry.
Getrude Tseki is the founder of the FINE and Missicon pageant. She is the semifinalist of Mrs.South Africa 2017. Her passion about empowering women is related to her career as a professional teacher. She holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree as her highest qualification. She is currently doing her doctor of philosophy (PHD) with the University of KwaZulu-Natal. Apart from being a business and a career woman, she is a wife and a mother.
